Rajiv Seth was born in Calcutta to a house full of art, books and music that he avidly absorbed as a child. Although he has had little formal advanced art education, he remains a committed autodidact. During a varied career in advertising - mainly film and television - that took him to several countries, he took up photography 20 years ago. It soon developed into a consuming passion - he became a full-time practicing artist. He is widely traveled and has exhibited on three continents. His work is in the collections of several Fortune Five Hundred corporations and many private collectors.
